Read Chris’ interview for issue #1 here.
Any new items in your life, projects you’re working on, moves to new locations, etc. that you’d like to tack on to the ‘about you’ in your first interview?
I just finished and released a short story titled “Find The Blood Signs” and currently working on a another short story and a comic book.
What artists/writers do you admire?
I love Edgar Allen Poe and Saul Williams. I continue to read them pretty often.
Why create?
I create to satisfy my moods and to keep my imagination alive.
Do you prefer writing/creating art about ‘fear’ more than ‘love?’ Why or why not?
I do prefer writing about fear. I feel that as human beings we fear a lot of things. Loosing our job, getting mugged in the street, getting into a car accident. I feel like it is easier to fear things in life than to love them.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve been given?
If someone offers you something. Take it. Be thankful for what you get and recognize an offering or opportunity when its given to you.
fēlan is old English for feel. What makes you feel fear?
Knowing that everything we have can be taken away at anytime. That’s why being thankful balances out fear in our lives.
